Maverick is a very athletic and talented 14.2 hand, 6 yr old gelding that has looks to turn heads. He has been ridden in the arena and outside extensively. He would make a jam up little all-around youth rodeo horse for your youth or high school kid. Both the stud and mare were phenomenal all-around horses. He’s definitely ready for someone to take on and finish.

Maverick has been put to work! Lots and lots of outside miles, branded on, rode in the mountains, through water and brush, had things tied down on to one man doctor in the pasture. He’s been started in the heeling and has tracked and breakaway on calves.

Maverick was used as the primary flag horse at the World Series of Team Roping in Las Vegas this past December in the Main Arena. Loud noises and big crowds don’t phase him. He is sound with great feet, bone, and a big pretty hip. He’s had the miles in the trailer back and forth from the PNW to Texas several times over the last 2 years and is a great traveler. This horse is not for a beginner, as he does have a bigger motor lots of feel, and very quick footed. There’s a lot of horse in a compact package. Absolutely no buck, bite, kick, or strike.

Maverick is the kind of horse that can go all day, every day if you need him. He is an independent horse. Not in your pocket type but is easy to catch in big pastures or can be stalled up. Maverick has all the ability and potential to go and be a great in any discipline he’s put in.
